Student Services Support Staff - Office Specialist
Educator Institute on Networking and Transition
Institute Information: ODE will offer a regional training which will provide a basic overview of agencies that assist with the transition from school to employment or post secondary training. Teachers will have an opportunity to learn about the Governor's Executive Order 13-04, vocational Rehabilitation, Developmental Disability Services, Employment First, Parent Advocacy Resources, and transition related curriculum.
Welcomed Attendees: Middle school and high school SPED teachers, ESD teachers, Transition Specialists, Resource Room and Transition Teachers. There are 70 slots allocated for each location, registration is on a first come, first serve basis.
All Institutes are held 9am - 4pm
Hood River: Friday, October 10th
Douglas ESD: Wednesday, October 22nd
Harney ESD: Wednesday, November 19th

Institute on Development & Disability
Please join us for the Harvest Hustle 5K/1K race! It will take place on Sunday, October 19th on Naito Parkway in downtown Portland. It is a great event for the whole family. Halloween costumes for all ages are encouraged and there will be a Harvest Hustle Festival with delicious food, live music, and activities following the race events. All proceeds benefit Camp Odakoda, a camp for adolescents with autism.
